Nice breakfast. Even less choice but its delicious breakfast ! I like it.

Bed. The smelly of bed. I’m use my fabric perfume for spray on bed. Because a bed have not good smell.

Perfect stay in a Taiping Getaway

The rooms were beautifully renovated and upgraded with more modern furniture. A massive improvement that was needed to refresh this iconic hotel. The parking attendant was very helpful in directing my massive car into their indoor parking. As always, love the location in front of the park. I kept going out for walks and to the cafes and eateries nearby.

Limited indoor parking but outdoor parking is available when it's full.

Strategic location. Will repeat for the View.

Room is spacious. Love the view,, Our room is facing the lake. Magnificent and breathtaking. Will repeat for the view.

The breakfast is just so so. Basic menu like Nasi Lemak, Mihun goreng. No fancy stuff. Took them awhile to refill the buffet too. Dont expect too high.

The room was okay, clean and comfortable

The staff are not so friendly, the bell boy are not helpful at all, he only open the door but not helping carrying the luggage. The parking is limited, need to walk. The pool not so clean. The nasi lemak for brekafast is raw and not so many choices

Two nights nearly became a nightmare

The hotel is situated right next to the Taiping Lake and makes for excellent morning exercise location

1. I booked two rooms for two nights because there were four adults and made full payment upon check-in. However, on Day Two we found ourselves locked out of our rooms as the staff keyed into the system that we were staying only one night 2. The wifi connections details were full of errors - instructions on ID and passwords were completely inaccurate and we had to call front desk and they sent one staff to our rooms to help with log-in. 3. Housekeeping did not wash and clean the coffee cups we left in the bathroom sink and we had to wash the cups ourselves

This is not Flamingo by the Beach, but this is Flemington by the Taiping lake

Good breakfast, variety options. Cross the road for leisure by the lake. My mom like this 'strategic' location...

Parking. Even-though you stay in 3 different rooms, for 1 parking lot is difficult to get after you back from dinner. The parking guard will only rise their shoulder without advice you to parking any place. You should park by the lake public parking with your own high risk.

It was easy to locate the hotel and the room was clean,...

It was easy to locate the hotel and the room was clean, well-kept and taken care of.

There wasn't enough parking available for the hotel guests and unfortunately we drove a pick up truck, we had to hope that there would be parking infront of the lobby that has enough space.

Will not recommend.

Some staffs were approachable and friendly especially in the breakfast room.

Swimming pool not so clean. Guest were noisy and kids shouting a lot. WiFi terrible Towels need changing. Old and really old. Not white anymore. Drains smell in the room. No fridge.

A comfy place to stay and a great location in Taiping.

Room was nice and comfy and in good condition as it should be.

Being on the first floor just down from the restaurant (It does close at 10pm or so) would be something I would avoid if staying there again due to the noise of those leaving so being a light sleeper this would not be a good choice for you and my room (118) seemed to have the main town supply water pipe in the wall behind me so just a few things to consider for you if you can't fall asleep at the drop of a hat. Reception staff were very straight faced the day I checked in to either local or the O/S traveler like me. Don't expect them to be your best friend and add you on fb but a welcoming greeting can't hurt. Other staff I met were your usual friendly locals.

Satisfactory

Had a problem with Booking.com reservation but hotel staff were professional and helpful; the matter was resolved promptly. Housekeeping staff were also helpful and friendly.

The non-smoking room we had requested had cigarette smoke smell in them! The corridor leading to rooms could use more lighting and ventilation as the corridors were a bit dark and was stuff with musty smell.

A basic hotel, don’t expect much.

It’s a basic hotel with no amenities.

House keeping was slipshod: when checked in found that no towels were provided and a wet floor rag was hung on the towel rack. Then tried taking a shower and realised that the body soap canister was empty!

Value for money but may try another hotel next time.

The hotel is very near to Taiping lake, very scenic surrounding. Easy to find this hotel. Roof top swimming pool was good. Room was rather clean but need refurbishment soon.

Breakfast was average. Limited food choice. Environment was acceptable. Service was slow. Parking was insufficient. Air conditioning in my room was not cooling.

Location and view

I seldom complain on breakfast but the breakfast was really super lousy. Most of the food was processed food like nuggets, sausages, crab balls, crab sticks, wedges... the only thing better is the eggs counter. The receptionists during check in wasn't very pleasant. And to me, when you are at the front liners, suppose to be well groomed and clean. Well, I found 2 of their uniform were stained terribly and gave me a bad impression.

Nice location but I will not stay there again

We were put on the same floor as the Chinese restaurant. And that one night we were there there was a wedding dinner function. It was very noisy as the walls were very thin. My 1 year old had trouble sleeping!

Had a good sleep.

THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY! THE SKY BAR AND ROOFTOP POOL IS AMAZING!

Breakfast can be improve. Lower beyond the satisfied level. Except the omelet, that one is good. No ironing board and iron in the room.
